With the “Hidden Champions in Thuringia” campaign, the Free State of Thuringia and its State Development Corporation (LEG Thüringen) have been honoring Thuringian world market and technology leaders since this year. As of today, we can also call ourselves one of these champions. Representatives of LEG Thüringen visited our company headquarters in Altenburg to hand over the official certificate of appointment.
Even some people in Altenburg are not yet familiar with Schulz & Berger. “We are indeed a little 'hidden',” jokes our Managing Director Marcel Rohmann, ” but we are also a real champion and a technology and market leader with our solutions!”
This leading position is an important criterion for being appointed by the Free State of Thuringia and the state development company. “We have an amazing number of mostly medium-sized companies in Thuringia that are successful far beyond the state's borders,” explains Axel Wipprecht, project manager at LEG. “The aim of the campaign is to highlight their performance and expertise.”
Both the award-winning companies and the Free State of Thuringia benefit from the award. The Thuringian champions and their achievements show how much potential and expertise there is in the Free State. Companies like Schulz & Berger become more visible both nationally and locally.
In view of the shortage of skilled workers, a little attention is never a bad thing. In this appreciative form, it is all the more beautiful and effective, says Marcel Rohmann. After all, the award is ultimately a tribute to the work of each individual in the company.
